The goal of Youth Group (Grades 7-12) is to provide a Christian environment where teens can enjoy fellowship with one another while they learn, work, play, and grow together. We focus on self-esteem, positive relationships, clear communication, responsible behavior, good decision-making, and Christian character. The structure changes from week to week, and programs include small group discussions, group-building activities, games, singing, and dancing. We also sponsor service projects, ski trips, and lock-ins.
From September through June we offer three Youth Groups for teens. All three groups meet on Sundays from September through June: Junior High (Grades 7-8) meets from 4:00-5:15 pm; Ninth Grade meets from 5:30-6:45 pm; and Senior High (Grades 10-12) meets from 7:15-8:45 pm. All three Youth Groups are open to the community, and the overwhelming majority of our teens are non-church members. Youth Group members are asked to donate $40.00 per year per child or $60.00 per family with two or more children.
